Privacy policy
We are Snob Duck Soaps, ΑΦΜ 048340081. We are the data controller for information collected through snobduck.com.
What we collect
- When you place an order: name, email, delivery address, phone number.
- When you contact us: whatever you tell us.
- If — and only if — you accept analytics: which pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you used.
Why we collect it
To process and fulfil your order.
To send your invoice, which is a legal requirement.
To contact you about your order if needed.
To send you emails if you opted in. You can opt out any time.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. Ever.
We do not share it with third parties except those needed to fulfil your order:
- ELTA Courier, for delivery.
- Our payment processor, for payment.
- ΑΑΔΕ, for invoice compliance.
How long we keep it
Order data: 10 years, as required by Greek tax law.
Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your data.
- Correct your data.
- Delete your data, where legally possible.
- Object to processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA).
To exercise any of these rights: soap@snobduck.com
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people actually read. It tells us that a page was visited, roughly which country from, and on what kind of device. It does not tell us who you are, and we never connect it to your order.
It is off until you turn it on. Nothing is requested from Google, and nothing is stored on your device, unless you accept it on the banner. Declining costs you nothing — the shop behaves identically.
If you accept, the data goes to Google Ireland Limited, who may transfer it outside the EU under the European Commission's approved safeguards. Google does not store your full IP address, and keeps the rest for up to 14 months.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to keep track of your shopping cart. It holds a reference to your basket and nothing else, and it is set so that scripts running in your browser cannot read it. It is necessary for the shop to work at all, so it is not something we ask permission for.
If you answer the analytics banner, we also store your answer in your browser so we stop asking. That is the only purpose it serves, and it is never sent to us.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the cart won't remember your items.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if anything changes.
